PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: One of the best ways to learn is through inquiry based questions and learning. Use any unit of study in ELA (or any other subject) as a jump off point for deeper, resource-based learning. This 5 page set of handouts will self-guide your students through the process of creating effective inquiry questions, searching and identifying web-based resources for research, and sequencing and planning a power-point for presentation. Designed to fulfill the “inquiry” outcome requirements for the Saskatchewan Curriculum, this is comes complete with a rubric using both content points and the MABE scale. Use as an ongoing project for students who are completed classwork early or a project to come back to on days with a sub in your class. Have each student present 2-3 projects per year and let them choose their best marks for reporting!
